Chewie

05/23/2015 by Fred Huergo

More and more, pitches are starting to need more advanced elements than just style frames or moodboards. For this particular project, I was tasked with making loops of a hairy S that resembled a particularly fuzzy character from a particularly well-known film series. This was a lot of fun to whip out it only 2 days, a great example of how quick and easy it can be to work with C4D and make pretty decent results. Having said that, the one […]

A Fistful of Renders

09/29/2011 by Fred Huergo

After a month+ long period of not posting, I’m back! Been busy with Superheroes stuff (which will get posted sooner than later), as well as things that pop up here and there. So here’s some assorted renders that I’ve been able to work on during downtime – nothing really fleshed out, just trying out some different techniques or approaches to things. Cherry Blossom

02/18/2011 by Fred Huergo

Here’s a test render of a tree that I’m working on. It’s a cherry blossom tree, and it’s completely procedural and can be animated and customized on infinite levels. Well, almost. It’s still buggy. And to top it off, some Hair for the grass, generated over a […]

02/02/2011 by Fred Huergo

Finally, the UEFA Trophy Tour campaign is up and running on Facebook, which means my latest work is live and can be posted here! A brief explanation: the UEFA Trophy is traveling over the next few months from Switzerland to different parts of Asia. Heineken and UEFA teamed up for this Facebook campaign/app in which the more Likes the app has, the further the Trophy travels on its route. There’s prizes along the way and all that jazz. The animation […]

“Damn You All To Hell!”

12/16/2010 by Fred Huergo

The last two ladybugs on Earth flee in search of populating another planet. Earth and rock made using Planet X, then grass made using the Hair module, and background atmospherics made using PyroCluster.

Fuzzy

12/16/2010 by Fred Huergo

While not the prettiest of renders, still nice in it’s own organic way.   Modeled using MetaBalls with SubPolygon Displacement, followed with the Hair module for the finishing touch.
