I’ve been wanting to try out a more polygonal (playful, even) style lately. I decided to try organic things but giving them that more defined edge. All this time, and I never knew the Phong angle could be altered to give geometry those nice hard edges.

I also wanted to try out a nifty little freeware program called IOGraph, it tracks your mouse movement/idles. Pretty nifty. Below you can see the where my mouse was during the 1.3 hours it took to create the corn field scene (not including render time). Who knows, I might start accompanying future posts with IOGraphs.
